For the Granny no 5 yoke we are going to be alternating granny stitch and V stitch we increase to form the sleeves and body of the top.

As I reminder for the Granny No 5 yoke we are using a 3.25mm crochet hook and our main color yarn. In this section we will be increasing around to form our sleeves and body at the same time. Next week, we will split for the sleeves
Granny No 5 yoke
Rnd 1 – Using your Mc (less is more) attach yarn to the middle of a triangle on the the right side of your neckline when worn. Using your 3.25mm crochet hook make a stacked sc and two more dc into this space (this counts as our first granny st, ch1.
Refer to the table below for the amount of granny sts for each size. Remember to ch1 after each granny st, except the last one of the rnd.

NOTE: For sizes 1 – 4 we will have to employ the use of granny st decreases to get to our desired st count. I recommend that you make these dec when the corner of a granny square and triangle meet.
Once you have completed your last granny st, sc to the first dc of the round to join (this sc will replace the last ch space and allow us to work right into this space)
Rnd2:
Stacked sc in the sc space, Vst in the next 2 ch1, spaces, V st inc in the next space, refer to your size below for the remainder of the rnd
Size 1
[7 V sts, V st inc ] x 5, V st until you reach the first dc, dc, join with a sc to the first st of the rnd. (this completes our beg of rnd V)
Size 2
[7 V sts, V st inc ] x 6, V st until you reach the first dc, dc, join with a sc to the first st of the rnd. (this completes our beg of rnd V)
Sizes 3 and 4
[ 6 V sts, V st inc ] x 7, V st until you reach the first dc, dc, join with a sc to the first st of the rnd (this completes our beg of rnd V)

TRY ON THE TOP if you would like a deeper yoke, add more rounds in pattern before splitting for the sleeves. However, make sure that you finish on a V stitch round so that you can follow the sleeve separation instructions.
You may also consider blocking at this point to get a better idea of the weight and stretch of your fabric.
