Although acorns come in various shapes, this second acorn motif is an ode to a more “natural” looking acorn.

Inspiration for this second acorn motif
After working up the acorn granny square version 1, I kept wanting to make the acorn more “natural” in shape and arrived at this second acorn motif option. In order to turn this one into a granny square, we do need to add an additional border round.
Construction
To crochet up this acorn motif we are following the same construction as our granny square acorn, we start with the body of the acorn, then crochet the cap, and then we move on to going from a slightly triangular shape to a square shape.
